A little bit whimsical, a little bit ancient, this ring holds a feeling of something else, with a stunning 8mmx6mm faceted oval African Amethyst, and handcrafted with an old cast Olive tree twig band, I wanted the stone to look like it had been growing within the branch for a millennia. 

These two together embody a story of wisdom, grace and intuition. What a powerful combination.

Gold Care

To clean your solid gold jewellery, soak for a few moments in a solution of warm water and a drop of detergent. Gently scrub with a soft-bristled or baby-sized toothbrush, to dislodge any dirt. Pat dry with a cotton or microfibre cloth as tissue or paper towel will scratch the metal. Some lotions, Chlorine water, soaps and your body’s natural oils can affect the lustre of your golden piece. It is recommended to remove jewels when swimming in pools etc..

Olive

The Olive Tree is an ancient symbol of peace, fertility, prosperity, health, and stability. Moreover, the Olive Tree symbolises the eternal link between man and the Earth. In ancient Greece, they were considered an aphrodisiac, and it was customary to gift a young tree to newlyweds, to plant as a symbol of their long lives together. Connected to the Goddess Athena, they are symbolic of the ancient wisdom that runs deep from their roots into the Earth.

These trees are some of the oldest in the world, with some thought to be as old as 3000 years and still producing fruit! Known to be incredibly resilient; they grow, thrive and survive the harshest environments, showing us the strength that can come from working together. A relationship with roots that run deep, built on trust, integrity and clear communication will survive anything that gets thrown its way.
